My Approach
I’m the therapist I wish I’d had. Warm, real, and unafraid to say what needs to be said. I don’t sit across from you with a blank face and a notebook. I want you to feel like you’re talking to someone who actually gets it.
I work with college students and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, dating and relationship struggles, trauma, confidence, and the in-between years when nothing feels settled. So many of my clients come in thinking they should have it figured out by now. They don’t, and that’s not a flaw. It’s information about what hasn’t been addressed yet.
My style is collaborative and direct. We’ll talk, but we’ll also do the work. I’ll point out patterns when I see them, ask the questions you’ve been avoiding, and help you actually move the needle on the things you’ve been stuck on for years.
How I Work With Anxiety and ADHD
I work with high-functioning anxiety and ADHD, including the kind that hides behind people who look like they have it all together. We’ll figure out what’s driving the avoidance, the procrastination, or the constant low hum of “something’s wrong.” Then we build skills that actually work for your brain instead of fighting against it.
How I Work With Trauma
I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which helps you process trauma without having to talk through every detail repeatedly. EMDR works on the body and brain level, not just the cognitive one. This makes it especially effective for people who have already done a lot of talk therapy and still feel like something hasn’t shifted.
Tools I Draw From
I draw on EMDR, relational therapy, and attachment-based work. I’m also trained as a marriage and family therapist, which means I look at the systems and relationships around you, not just what’s happening inside your own head.

My Background
I came to this work through my own experience in therapy. As a young adult, I navigated my own anxiety and ADHD, and therapy didn’t just help me cope, it helped me mold into the person I am today. That experience gave me the courage to do things I never thought I could, and it’s the reason I do this work now.
I started college at Rutgers University in New Brunswick without a clear plan, and graduated with a degree in Communication still wondering. A few months into a post-grad job that wasn’t the right fit, I quit, moved home, and started over toward becoming a therapist. I completed my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and worked hard to become the kind of therapist I had been looking for.
Through my own practice and through the team I’ve built at The Therapy Gal, my goal has stayed the same. Make therapy feel relatable, accessible, and actually worth showing up for. Mental health is for everyone, and the work should feel like it belongs to you.
Get to Know Me
Outside of session, you’ll find me
Hanging out with my husband, son and dog, hunting for the next great Netflix binge, playing tennis in the summer, hibernating in the winter, and showing up at my parents’ house unannounced (with the baby in tow).
Currently obsessed with
Beach days, new cities, and finding the next best recipe.
My unwind ritual
Yin Yoga when I want a good night’s sleep, or reading a relaxing thriller (I’m kidding, it’s not relaxing, but I love it).
Favorite Philly thing
WM Mulherin’s is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Philly.
What I’d be doing if I weren’t a therapist
I would have loved to be an interior designer.
